29th Annual COPS ‘N KIDS FIELD DAY November 3rd, 2024
Soto Field Complex Arroyo Grande
This annual event, going on 29 years, has been host to an estimated 60,000 kids and families. Free COPS ‘N KIDS T-Shirts, free hot dogs, free bicycle raffles, badge stickers, cotton candy, face painting, K-9 Unit, Bomb Squad, Patrol/Rescue Boats, SWAT Rescue Vehicles, CHP Helicopter and more. Over 3,000 kids and their families each year get to interact with over 30 local law enforcement agencies and interact with the various equipment and programs provided by each agency.
California Central Coast COPS ‘N KIDS strives to increase the positive relationships between California Central Coast Law Enforcement and the Communities, Youth and Families they Serve & Protect. Several youths who attended this event were inspired to pursue law enforcement careers and are now employed as officers and deputies.
Retro Bill will be the Official Host/Emcee for our 29th Annual California Central Coast COPS ‘N KIDS field day. RETRO BILL has a huge fan base on the Central Coast where he has been speaking at SLO County and Santa Barbara County Schools for the last 20 years.
